Our Most Popular Posts: Disneyland, Bullying, Girls’ Sexy Costumes… And Some Truly Obnoxious Commercials
Tuesday, January 4th, 2011It’s always interesting to look at the stats for Parent Talk Today to see the list of the most-popular posts. (If you ever want to check out the current popular posts, just look in the right sidebar.)
As we head into 2011, here are the most-popular posts:
- Sexy Halloween Costumes for Girls: Where Should Parents Draw The Line? (This one concerns me a bit, because it’s ALWAYS near the top of the heap. Given some of the Google phrases people have used to find this posts, I’m pretty sure this one doesn’t just attract moms who are concerned about the current state of girls’ clothing and Halloween costumes. If you know what I mean…)
- Why I Won’t be Buying a Toyota Highlander – or Van de Kamp’s Fish Sticks (So glad to see this one trending, because I’m still sick of those commercials, and I hate what they teach our young kids. Ugh.)
- Guest Post: I Was Bullied As a Kid (This is a terrific post, and a gutsy post, by freelance journalist Stacy Lipson. It deserves a read.)
- It’s the Holidays at Disneyland! (Who doesn’t love Disneyland — at ANY time of the year! Whenever I do a post on Disneyland, it usually starts trending right away. There’s a reason it’s my son’s favorite place on the planet.)
- Sexy Halloween Costumes for Girls — Revisited (Oh my. See comments above.)
